COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) – Before Tuesday night’s game against South Carolina, the University of Missouri athletic department issued a statement involving Tigers guard Wes Clark.
“Wes Clark has failed to meet the academic expectations of Mizzou Athletics Department and is no longer a member of the men’s basketball program. Due to this issue relating to academics, Mizzou Athletics will have no further comment.”
Clark, a junior at MU, played in 25 games this season for the Tigers and averaged 9.8 points per game.
